Do you know this duck (puppet)?

Okay, so I haven't blogged in a long while. I have several ideas, and one of these days.... In the meantime, I am looking for a puppet that I believe was produced in 2000.

This puppet has a non-moveable mouth. The wings are operated by the pinky and thumb, and the other three fingers fit inside the head, with the hand entering the puppet from "below." Beak and feet are orange.

The duck's left wing has a Steiff-like button and a yellow ribbon. The centre of the button says "2000", and the word "millenium" is circled around the outside of the circle. A white tag on the inside indicates that the puppet meets the material safety requirements of Ontario, Canada.

I don't know the height of the puppet, but it fits an adult hand comfortably and allows most of the forearm into the puppet.

If you know who made this duck and/or where one is available for sale, please post here, and thanks for your help!

Hey, I could be fixated on worse things than a duck puppet.

Granted, I can't think of any examples right now, but I'm sure they are out there. And let's NOT start a blog-chain of worse things to fixate on... that will only distract us from the purpose of GETTING ME A DUCK PUPPET!

Thank-you for the information!

You know, people who don't know the reference are really going to wonder... for those not "in the know," that's a quote from an episode of Chicago Hope with a guest doctor who had Tourette's Syndrome. Just so you know; Rue isn't completely nuts. Just mostly.

And if anyone is reading this: the duck isn't by Ty, so I'd love some other suggestions, and thanks!

I'm obsessed as well with this particular duck. My daughter has literally worn hers out and is looking for another identical one. Did you manage to find one somewhere?

thanks

No, I haven't found one. And I still don't even know who made it or what it was called so I'm forever just searching "duck puppet" on ebay and the like. Do you remember who made your daughter's, where she got it, or what it was called?

I still am searching. I know that I purchased it at Costco, about 11 years ago. Other than that, no recollection. Sorry.
